Job summary

Sourcebooks is seeking a Marketing and Publicity Associate to elevate YA titles through creative campaigns, influencer partnerships, and digital content. You’ll support long-range plans across imprints, working with sales, digital, retail, and editorial teams to reach teen readers and drive book visibility.

You’ll build author relationships, craft press materials, coordinate newsletters, and help grow an engaging social media presence.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in book publishing or marketing
• Excellent writing and storytelling abilities
• Experience designing online graphics with Canva or Photoshop
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks YA titles
• Support planning and execute social media marketing initiatives
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, and other partnerships
• Coordinate newsletter features
• Represent marketing efforts to authors, help them develop their social media presence and branding
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal and round-up opportunities
• Attend select reader conventions throughout the year
• Collaborate with the marketing and publicity teams to form creative, full-rounded campaigns
