Timberline Lodge is seeking a guest-focused server for the Y Bar area to greet and seat guests, deliver meals, and maintain a welcoming dining environment during weekend shifts. You will enhance guest experiences through menu knowledge and upselling while upholding service standards.

This role requires staying attentive, professional presentation, and adherence to safety and reservation procedures. OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permits are required.

Qualifications

• Must be service-oriented.
• Must be detail-oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
• Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
• Must have detailed knowledge of all menu offerings.
• Must be proficient in up-selling products and services.
• Know and follow all proper service and reservation procedures.
• Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit.

Responsabilités

• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Description

This position will start once the snow flies and the ski area is open for the season.

Located next to the Wy%E2%80%99East Café in the Wy%E2%80%99East Day Lodge, the Y'Bar is family-friendly. The Y'Bar features hearty, apres-ski food, craft ales from Mt. Hood Brewing Co., and a full bar. Large glass doors overlook the expansive outdoor sun deck, with sprawling views of Mt. Jefferson and the Cascade Mountain Range.

Greet and seat guests, clear tables, fill water glasses, perform stocking and side work, carry loaded food trays and provide outstanding guest service.

• Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.

This is a part time weekend only position.
