Job summary

Timberline Lodge is seeking a hospitality team member to greet and seat guests, take beverage and food orders, clear tables, and maintain water and table service standards. The role emphasizes accurate order handling and professional presentation within a busy dining environment.

Ideal candidates are service-oriented, detail-focused, knowledgeable about the menu, and capable of upselling and following service procedures, with necessary OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permits.

Qualifications

Description

Greet and seat guests, take beverage and food orders, clear tables, fill water glasses, perform stocking and side work, carry loaded food trays and provide outstanding guest service.

Essential Functions

• Greet and seat guests as needed.
• Clear and reset tables, refill water/coffee and tea.
• Pre-bus tables, side work.
• Deliver loaded food trays and serve tables.
• Successful completion of order process.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures following company and Mt Hood Brewing Company policies.
• Proper delivery of soiled dishes and linens to kitchen.
• Re-stock for next shift.
• Present a professional, quality image at all times.
• Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace
• Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

• Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
• Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
