Job Description

We are seeking a qualified X-ray Technologist to perform and process digital images, position patients for exams, transport patients, and assist radiology staff in our surgical center.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate imaging equipment correctly to perform radiographic services.
  2. Prepare patients and equipment for radiological procedures.
  3. Perform noninterpretive fluoroscopic procedures and apply radiation protection principles.
  4. Manage radiation badge program and ensure proper shielding and safety protocols.
  5. Assist in pain management procedures and prepare procedure rooms.
  6. Practice aseptic techniques and demonstrate leadership in patient care.
  7. Assist physicians during procedures and participate in staff orientation.
  8. Transport patients and adhere to safety standards, including proper PPE use and waste disposal.
  9. Report unsafe conditions and demonstrate proper body mechanics and hand hygiene.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Radiologic Tech in MA.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, safety hazards, medical procedures, and electronic medical systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
  • Interest in learning new procedures and software to improve efficiency.
