We have an exciting role for an experienced IT Technologist based in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for providing IT support to the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Remote Service team on our products and systems. You will contribute to the overall function of the CRM Remote Service team, which provides remote home monitoring support to patients with implanted cardiac devices, and to other parties involved in patient care (e.g., internal Medtronic teams, clinic staff, physicians, patients’ families). Your duties will include clinical case support, growing market share, and executing business plans.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

1. Running relevant automations/macros to support team processes.
2. Collaborating with CRM IT to create new automations/macros to improve efficiency and quality.
3. Participating in projects to streamline the FocusOn service, increasing efficiency and quality.
4. Conducting system testing, including user acceptance testing.
5. Assisting with general support activities related to tablets.
6. Executing periodic tasks such as reporting, patient profile updates, and supporting FocusOn and Carelink patients.
7. Providing TeamViewer support for software installation/configuration on customer networks.
8. Following up with third-party customer IT for troubleshooting integration issues.
9. Working with remote desktop connectivity programs for internal servers.
10. Providing backup support to the Remote Service Support team, including phone system tasks, clinic onboarding, patient record management, and troubleshooting.
11. Observing health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
12. Promoting Medtronic’s mission, strategies, policies, and Code of Conduct.
13. Maintaining quality standards, including ISO13485, across products, procedures, and customer contact.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience providing IT support.
• Industry experience, especially in healthcare, is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in advanced computer skills, MS Office, and coding languages such as VBA, ASP.net, Java, Python, PowerShell, GoLang, R.
• Ability to create and maintain IT tools that automate processes.
• Interest in new technologies like generative AI and problem-solving with technological solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with stakeholders in a dynamic, agile environment.
