Unity, a leader in real-time 3D development, seeks a Software Engineer for the XR Core team to advance foundational XR support within the Unity Engine. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive experiences for developers across AR/VR platforms.

You will integrate new technologies, support third‑party SDKs, and ensure high quality through reviews, testing, and Agile planning. A passion for XR and AI-assisted coding helps you strengthen the architecture.

Qualifications

• AR/VR/XR experience required.
• Strong C/C++ development background.
• Proficient in C# development.
• 3D Math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement new XR technologies and features into the Unity engine with internal and external partners.
• Integrate third party SDKs for next-gen hardware and software platforms.
• Work with hardware platforms to deliver a consistent development experience.
• Investigate issues, perform code reviews, and write automated tests; coordinate QA and project planning.
