Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a senior software engineer to join the XR Integration team to build foundational support for XR devices with the Unity Engine. You will work with partners to enable their platforms to run Unity-powered XR experiences and guide engineers toward high-quality code.

You will implement new XR technologies, collaborate with internal and external teams, and tackle performance and compatibility challenges unique to XR.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering scalable software solutions.
• Strong C++ and C# expertise across large software projects.
• Proficiency with code profiling and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement XR features and integrate third-party SDKs into Unity Engine.
• Collaborate with XR partners and internal teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Research and design solutions for performance, rendering, and platform compatibility in XR.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, issue investigation, and automated tests.
• Investigate and fix XR-related bugs to ensure ship readiness.
• Mentor engineers and promote high-quality coding practices.
