Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a dynamic Global Support Engineer for Xpedition EnterpriseTools. You will resolve tool issues, educate users, and create knowledge content for the web-based support portal while coordinating with account teams across multiple Western US locations and internationally.

You will build PCB design experience and contribute to customer success by proactive guidance, on-site support, and knowledge capture.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge in electrical system design.
• Detailed understanding of Xpedition Enterprise tools.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently but collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build rapport with customers’ organizations while maintaining internal contacts.
• Manage multiple tasks and customer issues concurrently.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is required; located in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Proactively help customers quickly become productive with Xpedition PCB design tools.
• Provide support by phone, email, or on-site to help customers meet project deadlines.
• Engage with existing customers to guide PCB design methodology.
• Assist account teams with challenging customers to overcome issues.
• Interface with customers and EDS engineering to provide feedback.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls with customers and teams.
• Develop solutions for customer issues and communicate them effectively.
• Capture knowledge for web-based support via articles, papers, and videos.
• Provide feedback to product marketing/engineering to drive product evolution.
• Support marketing and sales activities such as workshops and seminars.
• Provide first-line support for all Xpedition tools; focus on western USA and collaborate globally.
