Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a dynamic Global Support engineer to assist with the Xpedition Enterprise tools suite, resolving tool issues and educating users. The role requires collaboration with account teams, creation of knowledge content, and proactive feedback to drive product evolution.

The position focuses on Western US coverage, with hybrid work options and strong emphasis on customer success and design methodology guidance.

Qualifications

Broad knowledge in electrical system design.
Detailed understanding of Xpedition Enterprise tools.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently yet collaboratively.
Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain internal contacts.
Manage multiple tasks and customer issues concurrently.
Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
US citizenship or permanent residency, located in the USA.

Responsibilities

Proactively help customers quickly become productive with Xpedition PCB design tools.
Provide support by phone, electronic means or on-site to help customers meet deadlines.
Engage with customers to understand and guide their PCB design methodology.
Assist account teams to overcome challenges with customers.
Interface with customers and engineering to provide feedback and solutions.
Participate in meetings and conference calls with customers, internal and external.
Collaborate with the account team to develop solutions and communicate them effectively.
Capture knowledge for web-based support systems via articles, white papers, and videos.
Provide proactive feedback to product marketing and engineering to drive improvements.
Participate in marketing and sales activities such as workshops and seminars.
