Job summary

Turning On Restoration & Remodeling is a Bellevue, WA-based residential restoration contractor seeking an experienced Estimator. You will inspect losses on site, write Xactimate estimates for mitigation and reconstruction, and collaborate with insurance adjusters to negotiate scope and pricing.

You will explain the claim process to homeowners, prepare bids for reconstruction and remodeling, and coordinate with the project team to ensure work matches estimates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience estimating water damage, fire/smoke, and reconstruction claims.
• Strong Xactimate skills required; Symbility and Matterport/DocuSketch a plus.
• Experience dealing with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Solid knowledge of residential construction.
• Good communication with homeowners and adjusters; organized and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• English required; Portuguese or Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect water, fire/smoke, and mold losses on site; take photos, moisture readings, and measurements.
• Write accurate, detailed estimates in Xactimate for mitigation and reconstruction.
• Work directly with insurance adjusters: submit estimates, supplements, and documentation, and negotiate scope and pricing.
• Explain the claim process and scope of work to homeowners.
• Prepare reconstruction and remodeling bids.
• Coordinate with the project team so jobs are built as estimated.
