Job summary

Southeast Restoration is seeking an Estimator to perform property inspections, determine restoration needs, and prepare detailed estimates using Xactimate. You’ll collaborate with insurance adjusters, communicate timelines and costs clearly, and support customers through a stressful process.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and relationship building with adjusters to grow the network and ensure smooth project handoffs to production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years estimating experience in restoration, construction, or insurance.
• Proficiency in Xactimate software.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections to evaluate damage and restoration needs.
• Scope losses and generate precise estimates using Xactimate.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters for approvals and claim processing.
• Create detailed estimates communicating processes, timelines and costs.
• Engage with customers to explain restoration steps and costs.
• Develop relationships with adjusters and identify new business opportunities.
• Transition awarded projects to production teams with clear handoffs.
