Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist assistant to perform radiographic imaging with proper positioning and exposure, while upholding stringent safety standards. You will document CDs, assist clinicians, manage paperwork and supplies, and support on-the-job training for externs and staff, ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT-registered or approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program required; licensed where required.
• Strong communication and patient-care abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to limit radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Document x-ray CDs per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care and triage.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and clean work area per OSHA.
• Restock x-ray and Treatment Area supplies; attend trainings and meetings.
• Supervise externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants during exams.
