Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist extern to perform high-quality x-ray imaging and support patient care in a fast-paced center. You will position patients properly, document findings, and help physicians, extenders, and nurses during exams.

Responsibilities include safety, charting, OSHA-compliant cleanup, and assisting with staff training. Externs may work closely with other radiology staff and center operations to ensure quality patient services.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum typing experience.
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient care.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and ensure safety procedures.
• Operate and document in Patient First reporting tools and medical records system.
• Train externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants under supervision.
