Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality x-ray examinations, ensure correct patient positioning, and adhere to safety exposure limits.

You will assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient care, triage, vital signs documentation, and preparation for physicals and treatments.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate x-ray paperwork, using reporting tools, keeping the work area clean, restocking supplies, and participating in training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration or graduate of Limited Radiologic Technologist program; license if required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize exposure for patients, self, and staff.
• Create and document x-ray CD copies per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient treatment and care including triage and preparing patients for physicals.
• Handle requests with respect and in a timely manner; maintain x-ray paperwork.
• Ensure safety of patients when using equipment and restock x-ray area as needed.
