Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will position patients, operate radiologic equipment, and ensure high-quality images while adhering to safety standards and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include documenting imaging details in EHR, coordinating with physicians, and supporting scheduling and workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Valid state license as required by law.
• 1–2 years of X-ray Technologist experience preferred.
• Experience in outpatient/ambulatory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams using proper techniques and positioning.
• Prepare, position, and assist patients during imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and calibration.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and follow department protocols for image storage and documentation.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging details in electronic health records (EHR).
• Apply radiation protection techniques in accordance with regulatory standards and company policy.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, patients, and other team members.
• Maintain compliance with continuing education and licensing requirements.
• Assist with scheduling, clerical tasks, and workflow coordination as needed.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to students during clinical rotations, ensuring competency in imaging procedures, safety protocols, and patient care standards while fostering professionalism, confidence, and skill development.
