Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking a team member to perform x-ray testing and Medical Assistant duties, including patient preparation, documentation, and safety procedures under physician supervision.

The role requires TN state X-ray licensure and BLS certification, with ARRT preferred. Full-time shifts include rotating weekdays and weekends at our Murfreesboro, TN locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting areas and exam rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Document patient history, meds, allergies, and vital signs.
• Assist with radiology procedures and patient transfers.
• Perform quality control and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Maintain and report equipment malfunctions.
