Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant with radiology duties to perform x-ray testing and support clinical workflows. The role includes patient preparation, documentation, and assisting providers with procedures in a fast-paced urgent-care setting.

Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN opportunities are available as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• TN State X-Ray License required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in waiting area, exam room, and radiology room.
• Communicates wait times and directs next steps in treatment.
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Records vital signs, history, medications, allergies, and relevant data.
• Performs radiology procedures and ensures quality control of exams.
• Maintains equipment and documents procedures for each visit.
• Keeps licensure and certification current for radiology equipment.
