Job summary

Physicians Care is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Tech to join our team in Hixson, TN. This full-time position involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, and performing Medical Assistant duties as needed.

The role requires a TN State X-Ray License and BLS certification, with ARRT certification preferred. A rotating 36-40 hour week includes 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend, with a sign-on/retention bonus up to $3,500 for the full-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification is required.
• TN State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in the waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and directions to next steps in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and vital signs documentation.
• Assist front desk with check-in/out and scheduling when needed.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and shielding procedures.
