Job summary

Physicians Care in Hixson, TN is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Tech to join our team.

The role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, prepares the room, and assists with Medical Assistant duties.

Full-time, rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour shifts; benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and a sign-on bonus up to $3,500.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TN State X-Ray License required; ARRT certification preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, and radiology area.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to the next step in care.
• Assist with procedures under provider supervision and ensure patient safety.
• Perform radiology exams and maintain quality control procedures.
• Document vitals, medical history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and provide support to front desk as needed.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to the Manager or on-duty provider.
• Complete required documentation for each patient visit.
