Physicians Care in Hixson, TN is hiring experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs. The role includes performing x-ray testing, room setup, patient movement, and basic Medical Assistant duties. Full-time rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend.

The position offers a sign-on/retention bonus up to $3,500 and comprehensive benefits. TN licensure and BLS are required; ARRT certification preferred; prior Medical Assistant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required.
• TN State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicates wait times and directs to next steps in treatment.
• Performs radiology procedures and ensures patient safety and shielding.
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Documents vital signs, history, medications and allergies.
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Completes required documentation for each patient visit.
