Job summary

Patient First is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform quality imaging with proper positioning and radiation safety. You will support physicians and nurses, document x-ray records, and assist with patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires ARRT registration or equivalent training, state licensing as applicable, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to maintain center operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• ARRT registration or approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program completion.
• Licensed if required by the state; ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize patient, staff, and self exposure to radiation.
• Create and document x-ray CD copies per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient treatment, including locating patients and obtaining vital signs.
• Handle Physician, Extender, and Nurse requests promptly and respectfully.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and safety in treatment areas; supervise externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants during exams.

Education

ARRT registered or graduate of Limited Radiologic Technologist program
