Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to obtain quality x-rays with proper positioning and exposure, while adhering to safety standards to minimize radiation risks. You will support physicians, extenders, and nurses, and help prepare patients for exams.

Responsibilities include documenting x-ray CDs, maintaining paperwork, and safeguarding equipment, beds, and treatment areas. A strong focus on accuracy and patient care is essential, with on-site teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or Limited Radiologic Technologist program graduate or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State license, if required by the state, must be current.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Document and copy x-ray CDs per Patient First guidelines.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care and triage.
• Filing and maintaining x-ray paperwork and related records.
• Ensure safety when using wheelchairs, stools, and equipment.
