Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to obtain high-quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure while adhering to safety procedures to protect patients, staff, and themselves.

You will document and label x-ray copies, understand imaging equipment, and manage related records in accordance with guidelines. The role requires ARRT registration and Virginia licensure, and includes ongoing training with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist in Virginia is required; Limited RT license acceptable in defined areas.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct positioning and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to protect patients, self, and staff.
• Document and label x-ray copies per Patient First guidelines.
• Familiarize with x-ray equipment and processing systems.
• Maintain daily logs, x-ray listings, copy listings, and x-ray status.
