Job summary

Patient First in New Jersey seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-rays with proper positioning and exposure, while adhering to safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

The role supports physicians and nurses, maintains records, and participates in training. Candidates must meet ARRT licensing requirements, be able to multitask, and lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ARRT registered or Limited Radiologic Technologist program graduate.
• Licensed, if required in the state.
• Must be able to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Adequate visual, verbal, and written communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with proper positioning and exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient care and treatment.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and documentation according to guidelines.
• Use Patient First reporting tools and medical records system.
• Restock x-ray and treatment area supplies and keep area clean.
