Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Radiographer to obtain quality x-rays, follow safety procedures, and manage imaging documentation. You will operate radiography and processing equipment, document results, and ensure patient safety during transfers and procedures.

The role requires ARRT registration, Maryland radiographer license, strong communication, and clerical experience. The position emphasizes adherence to policies, training attendance, and teamwork at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT registration/certification required.
• Maryland radiographer license required.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Clinical radiography experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
• Create and document x-ray CDs; label images and sleeves correctly.
• Operate and understand x-ray and processing equipment.
• Use the bell system appropriately.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork.
• Ensure patient safety with wheelchairs and equipment.
• Use Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Copy Listing, and X-Ray Status Screen.
• Use automated medical records system.
• Clean work area per OSHA guidelines and other maintenance tasks.
• Receive, move, and restock supplies.
• Follow Patient First policies and procedures.
• Address physician/nurse requests timely.
• Complete tasks on x-ray and treatment area checklists.
• Attend training and staff meetings.
• Be available as needed for patient care and operations.
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment as trained.
