Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a X-ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations and support patient safety. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure documentation aligns with department protocols.

The role requires ARRT certification, NJ radiology license, strong communication and computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with shifts including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED, plus completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients.
• Adheres to ALARA principles and patient safety.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.
• Handles scheduling, records and other administrative duties as required.
