Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging department. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-2pm, with DEXA experience required. You will operate CR/Digital X-ray systems, perform bone density exams, and ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Strong English communication and documented certifications are essential. The role directs radiology functions across satellites, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and collaboration with Radiologists.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a vocational/technical school; associates preferred.
• 0-1 years experience required; 2-4 years preferred; radiology technologist experience required.
• ARRT certificate; BLS; NJ license required.
• English communication required; strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with standard office equipment and Windows-based systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CR/Digital X-ray system and imaging equipment safely.
• Perform Bone Density (DEXA) exams and document results.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and assess risk factors.
• Ensure proper patient identification in PACS and report QA/QC.
• Maintain clean x-ray room and follow radiation safety procedures.
