Radiology Forward in Maryland is seeking a DEXA Technologist to join a patient‑focused radiology team. You will perform DEXA bone density and limited radiographic services, ensuring safety and comfort throughout exams.

The role requires state licensure and/or ARRT certification, prior experience in high‑volume settings, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS. You will safeguard PHI, property, and medications while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Maintains licensure as required by state regulations.
• Experience in high-volume radiology settings.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality DEXA (Bone Density) and diagnostic radiographic services (limited to chest, extremities, skull, and torso-skeletal).
• Monitors patient well-being during exams and responds to discomfort or medical issues.
• Evaluates radiographs and DEXA scans for technical quality.
• Responds to physician questions regarding exams.
• Adjusts scales, field of view, gain, voltage, and other factors to produce quality images.
• Safeguards patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards medications on site in accordance with policies and laws.
• Maintains professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respects patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interacts diplomatically with patients, families, and the public.
• Establishes cooperative working relationships.
