CareNow NACOGDOCHES MSO, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, seeks an X-ray Tech to support patient care with imaging and clinical tasks. You will take vital signs, perform imaging studies, update charts, and assist with checks and lab duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications include GMRT/LMRT/NCT license in residency, high school diploma, and BLS certification within 30 days. Experience with EHR is a plus; training and benefits are provided.

Formación

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• GMRT, LMRT, or NCT license required in state of residency.
• Current certification from the AAMA is preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
• Maintain records for in-house lab work and drug screens; send outs as needed.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
