Job summary

CareNow urgent care, owned by HCA Healthcare, is hiring an X-Ray Technician - NCT in Texas. You will perform radiology procedures, lab tests, and maintain records while ensuring high patient satisfaction. You may cross-train for Front Desk tasks and assist with general patient care; shift flexibility may apply.

Required: NCT license in Texas, BLS within 30 days, and certification in Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening within 3 months. Previous clinical experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
• NCT license issued by the Texas Board/State health authorities.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification required within 3 months.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests including drug screens and processing specimens.
• Maintain records/logs for in-house lab work and x-rays sent to labs.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Follow occupational client's preference card and procedures.
• Handle routine office tasks (copying, faxing, scanning, filing).
• Cross-train for Front Desk duties (greeting, check-in/out, end-of-day close).
• May work alternate shifts and float to other clinics; assist with general patient care.
