Job summary

MD Now in Tampa is seeking an X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to deliver patient‑centered care in a fast-paced urgent care. You will take vital signs, perform EKGs and injections, and update charts and radiology findings.

You will handle X-ray imaging, document patient history, assist with check‑in/out, and maintain in-house and sent-out lab records. We offer a sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our growing care network.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• RT or BMXO/BMO license in state's residency.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain federal breath alcohol and federal drug screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records on in-house and sent-out lab work and drug screens.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
