Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care is seeking an X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant to join our team in Florida. This role supports imaging services, patient care, and charting while working within a physician-led, urgent-care network.

Candidates should have clinical experience, an accredited MA program, RT/BMXO license, and BLS. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• RT or BMXO/BMO license required in state of residency.
• AAMA certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider's orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house and sent-out lab work.
