Job summary

CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and Medical Assistant (MA) to deliver patient-centered imaging and clinic support. You will perform imaging, vital signs, phlebotomy as needed, and ensure accurate EHR documentation in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, MA training, and BLS within 30 days. This role supports patient care across multiple CareNow clinics, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within HCA

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
• GMRT license in state of residency if required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) required.
• Certification from AAMA preferred.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening certifications within 30 days.
• Within 30 days of employment, obtain state Office Laboratory Assistant license if required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR accurately.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house lab work and external tests.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
