Job summary

HCA HealthCare is seeking an X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join CareNow, providing vital signs, imaging, EKGs and injections in a patient‑focused urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have MA training, ARRT/LPO/LsO license, BLS, and experience with EHR systems.

You will contribute to efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and coordinated care across departments, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (BOTP) or equivalent.
• RT/LSO/LMRT license is required in state of residency.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of start is required.
• Experience with EHR systems is beneficial.
• AAMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services as ordered and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for radiology, in-house lab work and external lab results.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
