Job summary

CARENOW - NORTH KYLE MSO is seeking an X-Ray Technician and Medical Assistant to join our urgent care team in Kyle, TX. You will perform imaging, administer injections, collect data, and document in the EHR with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year clinical experience, an MA program diploma, and a state license (GMRT/LMRT/NCT). AAMA certification is preferred, with BLS required within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistants program is required.
• Licenses in GMRT/LMRT or NCT acceptable in state of residency.
• Current AAMA certification preferred and BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect samples, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform radiology imaging services per provider orders and document in chart.
• Collect patient history and update electronic health record.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed.
• Support check-in/check-out and audit charts, maintain logs.
• Keep patients informed about clinic progress and processes.
