Job summary

HCA Healthcare's CareNow Urgent Care in Kyle, TX is seeking a Multi-Tech LMRT to join our patient-centered team. You will perform clinical duties, assist with front desk tasks, maintain rooms, and support providers and nursing staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate as required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
• CareNow hours: Mon-Fri 8am–9pm, Sat 8am–8pm, Sun 8am–5pm; must be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties supporting providers and nursing staff including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens and EKGs; prepares, maintains and cleans exam rooms.
• Check patients in and out of the computer; assist the Patient Representative with front desk duties.
• Greet patients and manage check-in/out; perform End of Day procedures and lobby checks.
• Maintain records and logs on in-house lab work, drug screens and external lab results.
• Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
• Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
