Job summary

CARENOW - INGRAM MSO in Texas is seeking a Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) to deliver timely, patient-centered radiology services. This PRN role supports clinic operations and collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will perform radiology procedures, run quality checks, and assist with in-house lab tests. Strong customer service and clear communication are essential, with BLS within 30 days and state LMRT licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in Texas
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion

Responsibilities

• As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Is cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• You may be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Education

LMRT - Limited Medical Radiology Technician license (Texas)

1+ year clinical experience (beneficial)

BLS Certification within 30 days

Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification

Federal Drug Screening Certification
