Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a dedicated LMRT X-Ray Technician to support patient care and diagnostic services in a fast-paced clinic. You will perform radiology procedures, assist with in-house lab work, ensure accuracy in records, and collaborate with clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.

Some shifts may vary and you may float to other locations. Certification and licensing in Texas are required, with BLS and other screenings due within

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
• LMRT license in Texas.
• 1+ year of clinical experience is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must obtain Breath Alcohol and Drug Screening Certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Conduct in-house lab tests and processing of specimens.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house labs, drug screens, and x-rays.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
• Follow occupational preference cards and procedures.
• Cross-train for front desk duties and assist with patient check-in/out.
• May work alternate shifts and float to other locations.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.
