Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Columbia, SC seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in an outpatient setting. The role involves preparing patients and operating x-ray equipment, often working independently or with physicians.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography program graduation, ARRT RT(R) certification, and applicable state licensure. Ideal candidates also have EMR familiarity and strong patient communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in RT(R).
• Applicable state license where required.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• The Radiologic Technologist works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.
