Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Novant Health, seeks an MRI Technologist for the Outpatient Imaging team at Palmetto Imaging in Irmo, SC. Expect patient-focused care, collaboration with physicians, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure patient safety and image quality.

What You'll Do

The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
