Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for outpatient imaging in Matthews, NC. The role involves independently operating x-ray equipment and preparing patients to obtain diagnostic images in an ambulatory setting.

Join a collaborative team in a facility aligned with Novant Health Imaging Matthews, with no overnight or on-call shifts and a 4-day work week. Prior ARRT radiography certification and state licensure are required, along with Epic EMR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT RT(R).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment and prepares patients to obtain diagnostic images in ambulatory settings.
• Works independently or with physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic imaging procedures.

What You'll Do

The Radiologic Technologist works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT RT(R)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications

• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
