Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Florence, SC is seeking an MRI Technologist for outpatient imaging. The role involves preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans, in a patient-focused environment.

This PRN position offers travel flexibility with no overnight or on-call shifts, PTO coverage, and opportunities to work with radiologists and clinical teams while growing your expertise in MRI.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Assist physicians during MRI procedures and ensure patient safety during imaging.
