Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Novant Health, seeks an X-ray/Radiologic Technologist for outpatient imaging in Matthews, NC. You will operate x-ray equipment and prepare patients to obtain diagnostic images while collaborating with physicians and clinical teams in a patient-focused environment.

Requirements include ARRT approval, ARRT RT(R) registration, and applicable state licensure. Epic EMR familiarity is a plus, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT RT(R).
• Applicable state license where required.
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in ambulatory setting.
• Work with physicians and clinical teams to deliver outpatient imaging services.

What You'll Do

The Radiologic Technologist works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
