Qualifications

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in a fast-paced medical setting. The Radiologic Technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure quality diagnostic images, provide excellent patient care, and work closely with physicians and clinical staff.

Pay: $23–$28/hour based on experience

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Full-time

Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic X-ray procedures as directed by physicians.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and provide appropriate instructions to patients.
• Operate radiologic equipment while following radiation safety standards.
• Select appropriate exposure factors based on individual patient needs.
• Review images for proper density, contrast, definition, positioning, and quality.
• Enter and maintain imaging information in the computer system.
• Assist physicians with procedures as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized X-ray rooms and stock necessary supplies.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor adjustments.
• Deliver digital imaging discs for surgical or physician use when needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
• Participate in training, quality assurance activities, and required meetings.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for ARRT renewal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, diagnostic imaging procedures, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.

• Strong patient positioning and equipment operation skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Work Environment

Fast-paced medical/clinical environment with frequent interaction with patients, physicians, staff, and the public. May involve exposure to ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a clinical setting. Position may involve interactions with patients who are sick, upset, or experiencing stress.

Additional Requirements

• Saturday work is required as part of the regular schedule.
• Must maintain required ARRT continuing education.
