Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist to perform radiological examinations and support diagnosis and treatment. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain strict safety standards in a busy clinical setting.

The role involves assisting with invasive procedures, patient preparation, and data entry into PACS/RIS. You will supervise students, coordinate workflow, and collaborate with the care team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and AMA-approved radiology program completed.
• Registration with ARRT and valid CT license.
• CPR certification (may be required).
• Continuing education as mandated by licensure.
• Desirable: at least one year of experience and an associate degree in a related field.

• Operating radiological equipment to produce high-quality images following established protocols.
• Assisting with complex invasive procedures as needed.
• Practicing radiation safety to protect patients, staff, and self in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintaining and disinfecting equipment, reporting hazards or malfunctions.
• Preparing examinations for interpretation, accurately inputting data into PACS and RIS systems.
• Providing supervision and instruction to students, ensuring clinical competency.
• Collaborating effectively with team members to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications Include

• High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of an AMA-approved radiology program.
• Registration with ARRT and valid CT license.
• CPR certification (may be required).
• Continuing education as mandated by licensure.
• Desirable: at least one year of experience and an associate degree in a related field.

Compensation ranges from $31.00 to $46.65 per hour, with shift differentials, and includes a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
