One Brooklyn Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic examinations and ensure patient safety. You will be responsible for patient care during procedures, labeling images, and entering data into RIS/PACS systems.

The role requires adherence to safety standards and proper imaging techniques. The position involves working with pediatric to geriatric patients, maintaining equipment, and communicating with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an X-Ray technologist program.
• Current NY State license for X-Ray technology or temporary license with 6 months to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray examinations with safety, courtesy, privacy.
• Care for the patient during the x-ray examination per medical staff instructions.
• Render emergency assistance if needed.
• Identify patients and label images using markers; acquire images as ordered or on printed sheets.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists.
• Enter patient information into RIS/PACS/Modality accurately.
• Provide radiation protection for patients.
• Keep imaging room clean and orderly.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors.
