Job summary

Moxtek is seeking a maintenance technician for the X-ray Sources unit in Utah. You will support corrective and preventive maintenance, select and install equipment, and improve processes.

You will also manage spare parts and document all work with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree and at least five years in manufacturing, including electronics, automation, and high vacuum systems.

Qualifications

• Two-year tech degree in electronics or electrical automation.
• At least five years in manufacturing including electronics, mechanical, automation.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred (high vacuum, sputter, plasma etch, photolithography).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and high vacuum equipment.
• Read and follow procedures, drawings, schematics, etc.
• Document work performed.
• Maintain spare parts stock and assist with ordering and shipping.
• Coordinate maintenance with departments.
• Write procedures for maintenance schedules.
• Assist in equipment selection and installation.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and machine control software.
• Work safely and participate in Emergency Response Team activities.
