Job summary

M2X Energy Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our manufacturing and assembly operations. You will inspect mechanical assemblies, welded frames, and pressure-tested systems to ensure all products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify defects, document findings, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years in a quality, manufacturing, or inspection role.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly inspection and torque wrench usage.
• Familiarity with hydrostatic or pressure testing procedures and safety.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and work instructions.
• Experience inspecting weldments; knowledge of AWS D1.1 a plus.
• Proficient with basic tools: tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Strong detail orientation and documentation accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and components against drawings and specs.
• Inspect welded frames for weld quality and defects.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing; setup, pressurization, and documentation.
• Apply and verify torque specs with torque wrenches.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances in QMS.
• Initiate NCRs and support root cause analysis.
• Handle heavy components up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain calibration of inspection tools.
• Support process improvement by identifying recurring defects.
• Communicate findings to production, engineering, and management.
