Job summary

ChenMed is seeking an X-Ray Technician to position patients, adjust exposure settings, and support physicians with procedures in a busy care center. You will manage radiology logs, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment while following ALARA principles.

The role requires at least 1 year of radiology experience, completion of an accredited program, and CPR/BLS within 90 days. On-site work with occasional regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiological Technology or X-Ray Operator program.
• Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year XRAY technologist work experience in healthcare; 2 years preferred.
• BLS certification required within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Position patient under X-ray machine and ensure protection; set exposure.
• Assist physicians with procedures, EKGs, phlebotomy and injections.
• Prepare reports and maintain radiology records and logs.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, OSHA compliance and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
