Job summary

Block Imaging Parts & Service LLC is seeking an experienced field service technician to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot and maintain medical imaging equipment (X-ray). The role involves remote field work across the United States with travel and driver responsibilities, ensuring OEM compliance and safe operation.

You will diagnose complex issues, calibrate systems, document activities, and train end users while contributing to ongoing engineering improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience in medical imaging engineering or equivalent.
• GE and/or Siemens brand x-ray field service experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, evaluate, and maintain medical imaging equipment across the United States.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair imaging systems and computer components to meet OEM specifications and customer expectations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve advanced electronic, mechanical, and network-related issues.
• Represent the company professionally during on-site visits and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
• Expand technical knowledge continually and contribute to improving engineering competency.
• Provide timely project updates, insights, and responses to technical inquiries to support decision-making and customer satisfaction.
• Document new processes and provide training to end users, while supporting additional duties as needed.
• Ensure updates, calibrations or repairs are completed properly by running tests or diagnostics.
• Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
